The work reflects the Edo scholars’ engagement with and adaptation of classical Chinese astronomy, showing precise star groupings and constellation arrangements rendered in a distinctively Japanese artistic style.
Covers with minor soiling, rubbing, and small losses. Lower margins slightly soiled; final four leaves with small water stains.
