10 leaves. 36 × 28.3 cm. Woodblock printed on Chinese bark paper. Unbound as issued; uncut, with wide upper and lower margins. Finely printed. “Upper Volume” (上卷) only.
An Arabic theological text in the Nasafī tradition, giving a concise account of Islamic doctrine (ʿaqāʾid). It discusses the classification of knowledge, the definition of faith, and basic points of Ḥanafī–Māturīdī theology. The opening page bears a circular Arabic seal, probably reading Taqī al-Dīn, together with the Chinese woodblock inscription “板存南城清真寺内” (“The printing blocks are preserved in the Nancheng Mosque”). The text itself is entirely in Arabic, while the inner margins (版心) carry Chinese woodblock markings, including “Upper Volume” (上卷) and pagination.
Minor worming; otherwise in very good condition.
